We are currently investigating the behavioral and neural indices of episodic memory in adults with and without Autism Spectrum Disorder. Specifically, we are interested in the effects of emotional valence and arousal on episodic memory. 

We are currently investigating the behavioral and neural indices of purchasing decisions. Specifically, we are interested in the effects of color and if making a consumer-style decision during encoding improves later memory for item–color associations compared to a non-personal semantic judgment.  

We are currently investigating Pre-K–12 teachers’ experiences with ASD, ADHD, and comorbid (ASD+ADHD) students to better understand their implicit attitudes and support needs. Specifically, we are investigating teachers’ knowledge of ASD+ADHD comorbidity, preparedness, neurodiversity attitudes, and disorder-specific knowledge.

We are also exploring relationships between mental health, autistic symptom severity, masking of autistic symptoms. We are evaluating the predictive role of these lived experiences on quality of life in adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
